Sep 3rd, 2010 by CauffNult

Sep 3rd, 2010 by buyfqweasdrq

Cari camorristi ci rivolgiamo a voi.

Adviser and fashion marketing teacher Cindy Miller periodically yells out directions.

“Big moves … Dance your pants off … No, don’t do that.”

Fashion marketing students at Kellam High School were rehearsing last week for their spot in the national Walk the Walk competition for a $25,000 prize, sponsored by California-based clothing company Hurley and supported by Skull Candy and Converse.

They will participate in a fashion show on Aug. 6 at the U.S. Open of Surfing in Huntington Beach, Calif. The finalists were selected after three months of online video challenges.

“They’re learning what a team is all about,” Miller said. “As far as the fashion and marketing end of it, I couldn’t ask for a better project.”

To win the spot, they created four fashion videos for the clothing company’s website. Kellam’s 25-student team won a wild- card bid and will be competing against teams from five other high schools. Kellam won Hurley’s regional competition in 2008, but this is the first time that Hurley is holding a national competition.

She and her co-director, Kristan Cale, 18, run the show and are in charge of the music, choreography and picking the 35 outfits, among other things. The theme for the show will have a connection Replica Gucci Handbags to Virginia Beach.

After watching the students practice, Jordan Dowty, Walk the Walk coordinator, said, “I literally had chills and I was teary-eyed.”

Beach girl Halle's a Berry sex

SHE still has a figure to die for – and Halle Berry proves she’s a real yummy mummy as she takes her daughter for a stroll on the beach.

A sun hat and shades shielded the former Bond beauty’s face against the Los Angeles sunshine last week.

But there was no disguising the bikini-clad actress’s stunning body as Women Jeans Cloth she took two-year-old Nahla’s hand.

An onlooker said: “I’m sure Nahla will be just as gorgeous as Halle when she’s older. They’re the spitting image of each other.”

Oscar winner Halle, 43, looked as sensational as she did in her sexy Tissot Replica Watch beach scenes in 2002 Bond film Die Another Day. But the only action was collecting shells with Nahla.

Halle split from Nahla’s dad, Canadian model Gabriel Aubry, but the pair get together for family outings. Berry good.

Inmates come to town for booki
Sep 3rd, 2010 by fumFalflasp

Inmates moved the Epsom Public Library into its new quarters yesterday.

Six men serving sentences at the Merrimack County Jail loaded 18,000 books, packed in cardboard boxes, onto trucks at the old library on Route 4. They unloaded the boxes at the new library, about a half mile down the road. There, library volunteers began putting the books on shelves.

Joshua Grawey, in jail for criminal threatening, said yesterday’s job beat what he’d normally be doing at the jail in Boscawen.

“I’d be playing cards, Spades, or reading books,” said Grawey, wearing an orange barn coat, blue pants and white sneakers. He said he’s now reading Star Wars Tales, Vols. 1 and 2, and Star Wars: Rebellion.

County jail inmates also moved the State Supreme Court into replica Loewe Handbags its new building in 1997 and the Boscawen Town Library to a new site last year. The inmates saved the library from having to round up volunteers, who might not be as strong or young, said librarian Nancy Claris.

The new Epsom library, which will open Dec. 20, is five times larger than the previous, 104-year-old library. The old building couldn’t fit the town’s 19,000 volumes, forcing Claris to store 2,500 books in a trailer outside. The new library committee has raised $934,000 since it started looking for donations three years ago, Claris said. She hopes to raise a total of $1 million, so she can pay for furniture and final touches for the bookshelves.

The six inmates earned the library assignment, said David Hassett, the rehabilitative services director at the county jail. They hadn’t been disciplined, were generally well behaved and were serving sentences for misdemeanor convictions,

on Louis Replica Watches charges such as driving while intoxicated, driving without a license or being a habitual offender of driving laws.

“They get the fresh air, the sunlight, the benefits of walking around,” Hassett said. “They also get to dress differently.” The inmates wore orange sweatshirts, orange barn coats, blue pants and white sneakers. In the jail, they wear all-orange clothes.

Yesterday, Grawey and other inmates kidded their corrections officer, Frank Lewko, while hauling boxes on and off of dollies.

“Slave-driver,” one inmate called Lewko.

“Okay, bossman,” said another.

When Grawey was carrying boxes past Lewko in a tight corridor, he patted Lewko’s stomach.

Grawey, 28, pleaded guilty last year to threatening his girlfriend and received a sentence of 9 months.

“Me and my baby’s mom got into an argument,” said Grawey, the only inmate to speak to a reporter. “I was upset. I didn’t need to say it, but it doesn’t matter. She took it literal.”

Grawey left the jail in April but returned soon after, when he failed to complete his rehabilitative program. He’s scheduled to leave again in June. He said he’s looking forward to his freedom, so he can spend time with his family; he has four kids, five brothers, 10 nieces and nephews and a wife, with whom he runs a Manchester convenience store. While in jail, Grawey has received his GED and has worked his way up from kitchen detail to outdoor construction, Hassett said. Grawey said he plans to get a license to sell real estate.

Insight into future motoring

IT’S an interesting idea that a large part of the problem of harmful vehicle emissions could be solved not by incredible new propulsion technologies but by adjusting the attitudes of us, their drivers.

Instead of getting in and launching ourselves from point A to point B in the shortest time possible, what if we could install efficiency as our number one priority on a car journey? Honda’s Insight is a car that tries to encourage just such a paradigm shift. Yes, it’s a high-tech hybrid but the way it employs its technology also gives pause for thought.

The car has recently had its suspension tweaked for a more comfortable ride and benefitted from a smarter interior but the essential recipe remains the same.

This actually isn’t the first Insight Honda has sold in the UK. There’s a very good chance that you’ll have no recollection whatsoever of the original 1999 Insight which introduced hybrid engine technology to the UK market. It was a quirky economy coupe with back wheels half hidden beneath its bodywork and a claimed 83mpg combined fuel economy.

MLB-Jerseys

It looked as you’d imagine a car of the future might — weird. Almost nobody bought it.

Despite the lack of commercial success, Honda had set the hybrid ball rolling and its follow up, the 2003 Civic IMA saloon, was more palatable for the public. Not as palatable as the Toyota Prius, however, the car which stole Honda’s thunder with its starstudded celebrity endorsements and got people talking about hybrid cars. With the latest Civic IMA continuing to battle it out with the latest Prius, Honda is positioning the Insight as the affordable hybrid.

It’s a move which could easily find favour amongst the large numbers of people who are more interested in saving money than the planet but would be delighted if they can do both.

So can the Insight change the way we drive and if so, how’s it going to do it? The obvious answer is that with just 87bhp, a CVT automatic gearbox and a leisurely 0-60mph sprint of 12.5s, owners can attempt to drive as fast as they like but their efforts are likely to be thwarted.

Throttle Eventually, drivers should get the aggression out of their systems and settle into the Insight’s way of doing things.

The central instrument read out is the key to all this.

Drive in a relaxed manner, tickling the throttle underfoot like it were a giant over-ripe strawberry, and the dash glows in a calming green light.

Get a bit over enthusiastic and the green hue fades, eventually turning blue if you’re really getting carried away.

At this point you can picture the family of polar bears falling through the hole you’ve just made in the ice cap. Maintain a green approach and a little plant symbol illuminates on the Insight’s display as a reward, it’s possible to get up to five of these sprouts lit but you might need to fit a sail to achieve this.

At the end of your journey the car will give you an average rating to show how eco-friendly you’ve been on your journey.

The laguna beach car doesn’t rely completely on sedating its drivers into an on-going battle of environmental one-upmanship against themselves.

It also has Honda’s clever IMA petrol/electric drivetrain to fall back on.

The engine is a 1.3-litre unit based on the one in the Civic Hybrid and featuring a series of neat in

Bowe hoping to produce another
Sep 3rd, 2010 by Harmexallelay

Byline: Phil Cadden

TOMMY Bowe is ready to reach for the skies once again by sealing a hat-trick of personal honours this week. The Ospreys flier is the redhot favourite to clinch the inaugural Magners League Players’ Player of the Year Award tomorrow night in Cardiff after collecting the respective titles in Ireland and Wales.

But, after the success of the last campaign which saw the Ospreys crowned league champions in Dublin, Bowe has been gearing up for the new season by taking lessons Chanel Replica Handbags to become a pilot.

The Lions and Ireland star wing Bowe said: ‘The flying lessons are going really well and I’m really enjoying it.

‘I was rooming with Ian Gough one day and he told me all about his experiences of flying. I had wanted to do something on my days off during the week in Wales and thought why not? I’ve had 16 hours worth of lessons so far and I want to get my licence for a two-seater Ikarus.

‘But I never thought it would be something I would get into – in fact I thought it would just be a one trial flight. It’s definitely something different and it’s great fun. I’d love to have a licence to be a pilot.’ Bowe, 26, faces stiff competition from Cardiff Blues pair Xavier Rush and Ceri Sweeney as well as wings Aled Brew of Newport Gwent Dragons and Edinburgh’s Tim Visser to earn the top honour among his peers.

But the laid-back Monaghan native admits rugby hasn’t been on his mind over the past week after he completed his debut flight from Swansea Airport.

Bowe added: ‘I went up on my own for the first time last Wednesday and did both a take-off and a landing.

‘It was pretty scary not having an instructor beside me and I had difficulty understanding the radio calls. Ian was up at the time and he heard I was up for the first time so he warned everyone in the Replica Bedat & CO air to give me a 50-mile radius. It came across on the radio and didn’t help my nerves!

‘Landing is hairy when there is a stiff cross-wind but it’s only a tiny plane. I can’t really do too much damage.

‘But it’s nice to fly around and see different areas of Wales especially over the Gower which is absolutely beautiful. I’ve driven around the place plenty of times by car but to fly above, I never realised how many outdoor swimming pools people have in Wales and the people must be fairly optimistic with the weather!

‘The licence will enable me to fly back to Ireland and hopefully I will be able to do that. It would probably take three hours to get home and I’d try and land in a field near my house but it may be a bit more expensive than nipping on a Ryanair flight.’ Bowe will not be present at the official ceremony at the Millennium Stadium in order to attend Ireland’s two-day training camp in Belfast.

But he admits he won’t find many allies among his national teammates to allow him to show off his new skills.

‘A few of the Irish lads are interested in planes but whenever I offer to take them up they don’t seem too keen,’ said Bowe.

sundance Leather Bracelets

‘It’s not dangerous and unless something freakish happens I feel safe in the sky. I’m trained by topclass pilots so I haven’t anything to worry about – until I land in the middle of the Liberty Stadium by accident!’

I HAVE to say bamboo is not something I’ve ever considered growing in my garden.

However, over the past few weeks several people have mentioned it to me in conversation – apparently it’s more popular as a garden feature than I thought.

boned corset

On your patio, bamboo (pleioblastus) combines effectively with their relatives, flowering grasses, and both can be grown in pots and containers.

The good thing about bamboo and flowering grasses is they will be attractive on your patio for summer, as well as being decorative into autumn and beyond.

Bamboo produces woody canes and long pointed leaves, which are fully hardy.

Plants range in height from about one metre to three metres (although pygmy bamboo reaches only a compact 40cm in height).

Pleioblastus auricomus is a popular choice, reaching a height and spread of 1.5m. Its yellow, pointed leaves are striped green and look fabulous in the sun. Ideal for container growing, this bamboo can spread to cover larger areas if planted out.

Pleioblastus variegatus (dwarf white striped bamboo) is a small bamboo well suited to container growing. It reaches a height of 75cm and carries stylish dark green leaves striped with cream.

Pleioblastus pygmaeus is a dwarf bamboo that body jewelry wholesale is perfect for pots. With small leaves and compact dimensions, it can even be managed as a bonsai plant.

Put stones or crocks in the bottom of your pots to ensure good drainage.

Choose a good quality compost and water and feed plants regularly through the growing season. Be ready to prune and split clumps every couple of years or so and shelter bamboo from cold, drying winds.

Always check the needs of individual varieties, but full sun or partial shade is generally preferable.

Maiale in autostrada: panico sulla Catania-Messina e quattro feriti
Sep 3rd, 2010 by cliguewetebug
